Today, we had lunch at the Locks Inn at Geldeston on the River Waveney. By road it is a bit tricky to find as it’s actually down a long track – very out of the way but worth looking out for.
It was cool because they had loads of vegetarian alternatives on the menu and it was a really friendly little pub. As I’m still on the antibiotics, I had a soft drink, but it was one of those places where you would want to sit by the river and drink cider all day long. It’s how pubs used to be.

Dunwich, Coastguard Cottages
Tomorrow, we’re off to Dunwich for a few days… just think, no Internet, mobile phone, e-mail, work, just open countryside and the sea to look at. Need I go on?
I’ve been looking forward to this for ages as work has got a little extreme recently and the break will be well deserved. I plan to finish my latest art project and just relax away from the daily grind.
In the meantime, I’ve got plans to take some photos of Norwich when I get back. The Plunkett’s website (see link to the right) has inspired me to show the world how Norwich has changed. That means both the good and the bad.
I also saw my sister at the weekend. We spoke about writing THE book again. This time, maybe we’ll just do it. Hopefully, anyway!
