What bloody snow? If you don’t like snow, move to Norwich. It never settles and you’ll never get a chance to build a snowman.
Bitter?

I’m so pleased that it has started snowing and really hope that it will carry on until it lays on the ground. It’s been way too long since we had some proper snow in this region and let’s face it, if we have a cold winter, we may actually get a hotter summer this year.
Here’s some lovely weather from 2005…
I’m also looking forward to my birthday, with a trip planned to London to see Mamma Mia. I love birthdays, even though the last few have been a little overshadowed with other stuff going on, this one I think will mark the end of a quite sh1tty year and we can now look forward to this year being much better.
The thing I’d like most for my birthday, would be a brand new job that I can get lost in and enjoy for the sake of it. To be fair, a simple, honest job is something that I would love right now.

It’s been months since I saw Kerry, but last night we met (the first time since she became Mrs) and chatted about everything that’s happened since last May. Obviously, that amount of chat needed some liquid to soothe our aching throats, so we visited a few bars along the way. It was lovely to babble on and get up to speed with each other’s worlds, but I think that we both had the beginnings of colds happening, so today I’m not sure whether I feel hung over or ill or both…
Norwich night life on a Tuesday was pretty sparse really and went from the terminally drunk to the tragically student, but we managed to keep them all at bay.
Why do pubs now smell of old chips, stale beer carpet and bleach? They don’t seem to be the most welcoming of places anymore. Luckily, the company I had made up for that!

Dunwich, Coastguard Cottages
Tomorrow, we’re off to Dunwich for a few days… just think, no Internet, mobile phone, e-mail, work, just open countryside and the sea to look at. Need I go on?
I’ve been looking forward to this for ages as work has got a little extreme recently and the break will be well deserved. I plan to finish my latest art project and just relax away from the daily grind.
In the meantime, I’ve got plans to take some photos of Norwich when I get back. The Plunkett’s website (see link to the right) has inspired me to show the world how Norwich has changed. That means both the good and the bad.
I also saw my sister at the weekend. We spoke about writing THE book again. This time, maybe we’ll just do it. Hopefully, anyway!
