Leona Lewis, Willie Thorne and Sequins

This weekend has been really relaxing. Colin popped over to see D and Karine came round for an afternoon beer. We haven’t really had a proper chat with Karine for ages and it was good to catch up with her.

D had waxed the floor and polished the hall tiles which has made a big difference! Just one pot of gloss round the edges away from getting the ground floor just right.

We stayed in for the evening as I just couldn’t get the enthusiasm to go to the local gay bar… there was a time when I would have been chomping at the bit to go out, but I’m really quite happy now to stay in with D and appreciate what we both have. Mushy but true.

We watched the X Factor which was quite Sh*te to be fair. It was definitely car-crash telly and I honestly can’t believe that out of all the hundreds of thousands of entrants, the twelve finalists were the best. Oh well.

The epiphany moment came when we watched Strictly Come Dancing. I turned to D and said that I thought that Willie Thorne’s moustache was cool and agreed that his partner’s dress was lovely. HOW GAY ARE WE?
